Long range warning and on site analysis buying crucial response time and stand off safety.

FT-IR is a technique which is used to obtain an infrared spectrum of absorption, emission, photoconductivity or Raman scattering of a solid, liquid or gas.

An FT-IR spectrometer simultaneously collects spectral data in a wide spectral range. It is a method that has wide application and distinct advantages for mobile or stand off detection. In light of this Bruker have developed several instruments that utilise FT-IR:

RAPID is highly mobile and automated infrared remote sensor for the fast detection of pollutants at distances up to 5000 metres.

SIGIS II provides automatic real-time detection and identification with video and infra red cameras for day and night use with high resolution graphics.

Mobile-IR is a self-contained, rugged infrared spectrometer is available as a powder + liquid or a dedicated liquid only analyser. It provides wider spectral coverage and higher spectral resolution than any direct competitor.
