Bruker Daltonics Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Mass Spectrometry Sales Specialist to drive forward and accelerate sales growth by generating substantial new business for our tools for Life Sciences based on mass spectrometry, including mass spectrometry instrumentation, bioinformatics software and consumables.

 

You will be actively involved in all aspects of promoting and selling our cutting edge equipment to life science, chemical and environmental groups in industry and academia, using a variety of sales tools ranging from personal networking to internet searches.

 

A fundamental requirement in order to fully understand the needs of our customers is that you have a good knowledge of the challenges of life science research and the applications of modern mass spectrometry.

 

You will probably be a graduate scientist with direct customer-facing commercial experience looking for a fresh challenge in a job where the demands are great. Hands-on experience of using MS in a laboratory environment would be of definite advantage. You will have excellent communications skills in English, both written and spoken, and a very high standard of personal presentation. You will be prepared to travel extensively within the UK, with occasional visits to mainland Europe, and to work irregular hours.
