Bruker Nano Surfaces Singapore Customer Care Centre (CCC) is organizing a 2-day user training to help you get the most out of your existing AFM. We will be conducting in-depth training on Image quality and PeakForce Quantitative Nanomechanical Mapping (PF-QNM).
11 Jun 2019, Tues - Image Quality
The in-depth theory of contact, tapping and Peakforce tapping will be covered in this session. The advantages and disadvantages of each mode will be discussed. Attendees will also be taught how to adjust the scanning parameters to obtain the optimum image quality. Attendees will have the opportunity to attempt to get a good image on different test samples.
12 Jun 2019, Wed - PeakForce QNM
This session will start with understanding of force spectroscopy for mechanical properties characterization of the sample. Then, the training will move on to PeakForce Quantitative Nanomechanical Mapping (PFQNM). This application enables mechanical characterization of the sample, such as adhesion, deformation and modulus. Participants will be shown the calibration procedures and recent improvements to improve accuracy and productivity.
