Tribology and Material Mechanical Properties Characterization Workshop 2026

June 11-12, 2026 |  University of Twente, Netherlands

Join us Thursday and Friday, June 11-12, 2026

Bruker, together with the University of Twente, is pleased to invite you to a two-day workshop on Tribology and Material Mechanical Properties Characterization, taking place on June 11 and 12 at the University of Twente, Netherlands.

During the workshop, we will present the latest developments in tribology, nanoindentation, and optical profilometry. The program includes expert talks as well as hands-on training sessions using Bruker’s proven UMT Tribolab, Hysitron Premier II nanoindenter and ContourX-500 optical profiler systems. You will have the opportunity to discuss applications and measurement approaches directly with specialists in the field.

Participants are welcome to bring their own samples for discussion and (where feasible) testing during the hands-on sessions — please contact sergey.lemeshko@bruker.com and let us know in advance so we can review feasibility, sample preparation, and scheduling.

Highlights will include:

  • Expert presentations on current trends and methods in tribology, nanoindentation, and optical profilometry
  • Practical, instrument-based training sessions with Bruker systems. Please select your sessions during registration.
  • Exchange with researchers and Bruker experts
  • Bring your own sample and have it tested. Please register you sample in advance.

Please download the program flyer for details.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
