Bruker Fluorescence Microscopy: Automated Imaging & Light-Sheet Microscopy
Fluorescence imaging workflows are often limited by fragmented acquisition systems, data bottlenecks, and the difficulty of scaling from sensitive live imaging to high-throughput screening. This webinar presents the Bruker Luxendo imaging ecosystem that connects automated microscopy, light-sheet imaging, and high-performance data infrastructure into a cohesive, scalable workflow.
For high-content screening, the Acquifer IM enables gentle imaging of sensitive samples through a static stage and moving optics design, which reduces disturbance and improves data reliability. Light-sheet microscopy complements this with fast imaging, low-phototoxicity, and high-resolution 3D imaging, which makes it widely applicable from live zebrafish embryos to cleared whole organs.
To support large data volumes, the Acquifer HIVE provides on-premises, high-performance processing and storage, eliminating data transfer delays, allowing remote collaboration, and accelerating analysis.

Dr. Jürgen Mayer is a Senior Applications Specialist and the Product Manager for cleared system microscopes for the light-sheet microscopy branch of Bruker’s Fluorescence Microscopy business. Before joining Luxendo (now Bruker), during his pre- and post-doctoral research, he developed and implemented a method to compensate attenuation artifacts in light-sheet microscopy via multimodal imaging combining light-sheet with optical projection tomography.
Jochen Gehrig, Ph.D.
Senior Product and Applications Specialist, Bruker
At Bruker, Dr. Jochen Gehrig works as a Senior Product and Applications Specialist, focusing on enabling advanced imaging workflows for life science research. He combines over a decade of industry experience, including work at Acquifer Imaging, with a solid academic foundation from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham.
