Probes

BBFO and BBO - Observe Probes

Double Resonance Broad Band Probes - An extensively used observe tunable multinuclear probe, optimized for X-nuclei detection.

The inner coil of these versatile probes is tunable over a frequency range that enables observation of nuclei between 31P and 15N, depending on probe configuration (BBO model) as well as 19F on BBFO models. The outer coil is optimized for 1H decoupling and observation.

You can, for example, acquire 13C spectra with 1H decoupling, then switch to 31P observation with 1H decoupling. Further, you can change observed nuclei using an automated tuning and matching device (ATM).

Technical Details

  • BBO and BBFO available from 300 to 600 MHz
  • Inner coil optimized for observation of nuclei between 31P and 15N (BBFO: for 19F as well)
  • Outer coil optimized for 1H decoupling (and observation too)
  • Standard BBO and BBFO probes are available at frequencies between 300 and 600MHz.
  • Sample diameter: 5 mm (BBFO) and 10 mm (BBO)
  • Switch between decoupling nuclei by using an automated tuning and matching device (ATM).
  • Z-Gradient at all frequencies
