DEKTAK XT – Training
This 1-day course is designed to improve skills and confidence using a Bruker Dektak XT system. The course is suitable for new users as well as more experienced users looking to make the most out of their equipment.
The course will involve a mixture of presentations and hands on demonstrations.
The course begins with basic software usage, then develops on to more advanced topics such as specialized applications and features which aid in the optimization of workflow. Below is a short list of some of the topics that will be covered.
Course contents:
- Introduction to Dektak Profilometer
- Vision64 Software Overview
- Stylus Overview, Handling + Exchange & force calibration
- Quick and All-Purpose Analyzer Basic Analysis functions
- Automated measurements,
- Mapping
- High Aspect Ratio Tips and N-Lite
Cost: Standard fee is £550 Pound UK or €635 per day. Free seats available to some service contract customers.*
Conditions: Daily lunch included. Application deadline closes 2 weeks (10 working days) before the training is scheduled to begin. The maximum number of participants is limited. When more than this register, we will aim to schedule another training (dates tbc).
*One free seat for standard care customers. Two free seats for complete care customers.
This course will be offered in-person three times in 2026; once at our facility in Palaiseau, France, again in Coventry, UK, and again at our Karlsruhe, Germany facility.

Contour WLI – Training
This 1-day course is designed to improve skills and confidence using a Bruker white light interferometer system (Contour X100, X200, X500, X1000, GTK, NPFlex). The course is suitable for new users as well as more experienced users looking to make the most out of their equipment.
The course will involve a mixture of presentations and hands on demonstrations. The practical training will use a Contour X500, but the principles can be applied to most of the white light interferometer range.
The course begins with basic software usage, then develops on to more advanced topics such as specialized applications and features which aid in the optimization of workflow. Below is a short list of some of the topics that will be covered.

White light interference principles
Introduction into contour hardware
Vision64 Software Overview
Vertical scanning interferometry optimization
Phase sensitive interferometry optimization
Quick and All-Purpose Analyzer Basic Analysis functions
Data segmentation and clustering
Automated measurements
