Sergey Shilov, Ph.D., Senior Application Scientist, Bruker Optics

The latest advances in the Raman instrumentation and applications will be reviewed during this seminar with a thorough discussion of the following topics:

  • Materials identification
  • Additives and contaminations
  • Defects analysis using Raman microscopy
  • Chemical imaging and depth profiling

Examples of applications will include the classification of polymers, identification of layers in multilayer polymer films, tablet imaging.  Seminar will include live demonstration of new Bruker Bravo hand-held Raman spectrometer and hands-on session. Attendees could bring their samples for the analysis.
