Bruker at AsCA 2019

Meet us at the upcoming AsCA 2019, held at U Town, National University of Singapore from 16-19 December 2019. Incoatec and Bruker are also actively participating in the scientific sessions with talks and posters, and we have our basket filled with news on both the PHOTON III detector and IμS DIAMOND series. In addition, we have some exciting events lined up in conjunction with AsCA 2019.

2-day TOPAS Workshop, 15-16 December 2019, S13-M-08 (Registrations full)

This intensive course aims to impart the Rietveld method in theory and practice. Using selected examples, the entire process from profile fitting to crystal structure determination and refinement will be explained.

Format:
Both hands-on and demonstration sessions with the possibility for advanced participants to run the examples on their own laptops simultaneously.

IDEAL Lunchtime Workshop, 17 December, 12:00 – 14:00, at SR5.

The new IDEAL routine, the extension of the independent atom model leading to better crystallographic models, is available as part of the APEX3 package. This workshop is to familiarize existing and new users with the package.

Developers and application scientists will introduce you to this exciting new tool with examples. In addition, the workshop will provide an excellent opportunity to process your own data. Bring your laptop with the latest APEX3 version installed.
