1st Polish Bruker Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction Workshop

Prof. Michał Cyrański and Bruker AXS cordially invite you to the 1st Polish Bruker Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction Workshop, which will be held from October 26-27, 2017 in the Biological and Chemical Research Center at the University of Warsaw, Poland. The institute runs among others a state-of-the-art D8 VENTURE with a PHOTON II CPAD detector.

The workshop is ideal for scientists and students, who are interested to learn more about the APEX or PROTEUM software, which is supplied with Bruker instruments.

The meeting features lectures on practical aspects of SC-XRD experiments and subsequent data processing. Examples covering various topics such as sample selection and screening, handling of twinned crystals and charge density investigations will be provided. Data will be processed and solved in small groups.

There will be plenty of room to also address individual questions and participants are encouraged to bring their own samples and submit ‘difficult’ test data sets beforehand to holger.ott@bruker.com.

The workshop will be completed with hands-on sessions.

The registration is free of charge and open to all current and future Bruker users.

Seats are limited and will be assigned on a first-come first severe basis.
