32nd European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM)

August 18-23, 2019 - Vienna, Austria

While many of our colleagues are preparing for their summer vacation the crystallographic community has the pleasure to get ready for the ECM. We are sure that this meeting will become a success from a scientific point of view but also expose us to some of the cultural highlights Vienna has to offer.

Bruker and Incoatec, are looking forward to seeing the world´s largest crystal model. Together with the Vienna universities, Bruker is a proud sponsor of the first presentation of the model. Incoatec and Bruker are also actively participating in the scientific sessions with talks and posters, and we have our basket filled with news on both the PHOTON III detector and IμS DIAMOND series.

The new IDEAL routine, the extension of the independent atom model leading to better crystallographic models, is available as part of the APEX3 package. To make existing and new users familiar with the package, we invite you to the

IDEAL workshop will be held on Sunday, August, 18th from 13:00 h to 16:00 h in lecture hall 6 in the main building of the University of Vienna (Hauptgebäude).

Developers and application scientists will introduce you to this exciting new tool with examples. In addition, the workshop will provide an excellent opportunity to process your own data. Bring your laptop with the latest APEX3 version installed.

Last but not least, we will have our popular luncheon on Tuesday, August 20th from 12:30 h to 13:30 h in the main building of the University of Vienna (Hauptgebäude), 1st floor, Kleiner Festsaal. Traditionally, the luncheon is the ideal place to exchange information on our new products and for a chat in general. Light refreshments will be made available during the luncheon. Please join us, to also celebrate the installation of our 1.000th IμS source.
