The In-Vivo MS FX PRO and In-Vivo Xtreme End-User Workshop

About the In-Vivo MS FX PRO and In-Vivo Xtreme

The Carestream Molecular Imaging In-Vivo MS FX PRO and In-vivo Xtreme systems are the most versatile in vivo optical imaging systems allowing for multimodal X-ray, multispectral fluorescence, luminescence and radioisotopic in vivo imaging. The systems are complemented by integrated analysis software.

Accessories like the geometric magnification stage, bone density software, and multimodal animal rotation system provide for significant enhancements in imaging capabilities and analysis.

Workshop Topics

This workshop is an immersion course that provides both didactic and laboratory sessions/exercises in:

  • Animal handling, manipulations and injections
  • Multimodal imaging
  • Image preparation and analysis

Attendees are provided with animals, imaging agents, access to software and data sets, and bound training materials. These sessions and materials are designed to allow end-users to make use of the full capabilities of the In-Vivo MS FX PRO and In-Vivo Xtreme systems.

Bonus sessions related to nuclear imaging and the Carestream Molecular Imaging Albira PET/SPECT/CT system will also be provided. The In-Vivo MS FX PRO or In-Vivo Xtreme used with the Albira PET/SPECT/CT provides a total of seven imaging modalities allowing for a range of discovery including 2D, tomographic, functional, anatomical, high throughput, and detail rich imaging.

Who Should Attend

In-Vivo F PRO, In-Vivo FX PRO, In-Vivo MS FX PRO and In-Vivo Xtreme end-users.

Workshop Dates and Location

Workshops are held in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Registration includes access to all sessions, training materials, lunch and snacks during sessions, and accommodations for 4 nights.  Please inquire

Course Instructors

Course instructors include PhD scientists specializing in multimodal optical and nuclear imaging as well as technicians certified in animal handling, techniques, and care.

"The In Vivo Imaging workshop I attended with Matt Leevy and Todd Sasser was very helpful. Since this lab at the University of Cincinnati is a start up lab, I had to learn about the equipment without the help of another employee. I am the first (and only, currently) employee that operates the Carestream equipment. I found the animal handling practice, modality calibrations and acquisition practice demonstrated in the workshop very useful for my day to day needs. The atmosphere was relaxed and informative. I was also able to network with other users and have since kept in touch with them."
