Description:
This general course encompasses all relevant aspects of the amaZon instrument operation and COMPASSTM software. The course starts with an overview of ion trap and ionization theory, and continues through calibration, parameter optimization, HPLC setup and sample analysis for MS and MSn, including ETD (if applicable). Additional topics include, but are not limited to, spectra interpretation, data processing, automation and database searching.
