Overview

Topics:

  • Pulsed field gradient experiments (Gradient COSY, Gradient HSQC, etc.)
  • Experiments with adiabatic pulses (multiplicity edited HSQC)
  • Selective excitation experiments (1D COSY/NOESY, region selective HMBC, etc.)
  • Diffusion ordered spectroscopy (DOSY)
  • Solvent suppression (single and multi-peak suppression)

Remarks:

This 3 day course covers theoretical and experimental details of different aspects of common NMR experiments such as pulsed field gradients, shaped pulses and solvent suppression. The training sessions are comprised of classroom lectures followed by hands on sessions using state-of-the-art NMR spectrometers. Additional topics covered include pulse calibration and power handling (prosol table, shapetool), selective experiments, DOSY, and optimizing spectrometer stability (lock, shim and temperature).

Prerequisite Qualification:

For experienced operators of Bruker NMR spectrometers.
