With its newly optimized, polarizing HighSenseTM beam path the S2 POLAR offers sulfur analysis in refineries from Ultra-Low Sulfur (ULS) diesel to crude oil. The S2 POLAR is compliant with international accepted sulfur norms such as ASTM D7220, D4294, and ISO 13032. These sulfur norms also apply along the downstream supply chain including transport in pipelines, storage at terminal stations and inspection at petrol stations. But that’s not all, with its multi-element capabilities the S2 POLAR is also well suited to monitor elements in refinery processes such as Cl, P or catalyst residues. The S2 POLAR covers the multi-element analysis of biofuels, edible oil and palm oil.
Due to the HighSense beam path the S2 POLAR achieves high precision, norm-compliant analysis of additives in lubricating oils. It covers ASTM D6481 and D7751 including the elements Mg, P, S, Cl, Ca, Zn, and Mo. These elements are vital for oil manufacturers and oil blenders to control the efficient use of additives minimizing production costs.
