CryoProbes

Broadband CryoProbe

Highest NMR sensitivity for the periodic table of NMR - The BBO CryoProbe offers the highest commercially available sensitivity for the broadest range of nuclei, designed for both observe and inverse detection.

The BBO CryoProbe is designed for highest sensitivity on the broadest range of nuclei. Besides 1H and 19F, all NMR nuclei in the range 31P to 15N can be observed, except the frequency range between 199Hg and 153Eu. All of these nuclei can be automatically selected and optimally tuned and matched by using the ATM option.

Concerning 19F observation and decoupling Bruker offers two different BBO CryoProbe design: The BBFO and BBO H&F.

BBFO has the capacity to observe 1H with 19F decoupling (and vice-versa) and to perform one or higher dimensional 1H/19F spectroscopy with optimal quality.

BBO H&F was designed for enhanced 19F and 13C sensitivity compared to BBFO. 19F can be adjusted via tuning the 1H channel to 19F. Hence 1H observe with 19F decoupling (and vice-versa) is no longer possible. Besides, the BBO H&F probe has capability of BB observe with ¹⁹F decoupling and to perform one or higher dimensional BB/¹⁹F spectroscopy, e.g. ¹⁹F-¹³C HSQC and HMBC correlation experiments.

Hence the BBO CryoProbe is the workhorse probe for routine NMR with high sensitivity and/or high throughput. In addition it provides a great solution for research applications on less commonly measured nuclei as well as low natural abundance / low sensitivity nuclei.
