Identify neural activity and improve data analysis

During this webinar, Dr. Biafra Ahanonu gives an overview of imaging and experimental workflows, demonstrates how to extract signals from miniscope calcium imaging recordings, and shares tips and tricks to improve confidence in biological conclusions.

Presenter’s Abstract

I discuss my studies of pain- and locomotion-related neural circuits to review a wide set of tools, techniques, and important considerations needed for the computing pipeline to discern appropriate signals for use in downstream calcium imaging data analysis.
