During this webinar, I review the pivotal role of the striatum in signaling reward and aversive stimuli, as well as decision-making. This webinar showcases my research group's work using single-cell-resolution miniscope in vivo imaging methods in mice to elucidate the complex and complementary roles of subpopulations of D1- and D2-MSNs in valence signaling and decision-making.
