Dr. Björn Eismann
Senior Product and Application Manager

Dr. Björn Eismann completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in molecular biology from the University of Heidelberg. He completed a Ph.D. at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) on “Automated, high-throughput screening of 3D cell culture using Light Sheet Microscopy.” He has been the Product and Application Manager at Luxendo GmbH, Heidelberg, since 2018.

Balint Balazs, Ph.D.
Head of HIVE R&D, Senior Software Architect

Balint Balazs, Ph.D., did his master’s degree in info-bionics engineering from PPKE, Budapest. He completed a Ph.D. at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Heidelberg, titled “A new angle on light-sheet microscopy and real-time image processing.” He has been working at Bruker Luxendo GmbH since 2018, and is currently serving as Head of HIVE R&D and as a Senior Software Architect.
