Hyperpolarization for NMR Spectroscopy

Solutions for enhancing signal sensitivity in solid-state and solution-state NMR applications

NMR Hyperpolarization

Hyperpolarization techniques enhance Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) sensitivity by increasing nuclear spin polarization beyond thermal equilibrium. This allows for the detection of low-concentration species and subtle structural features that are otherwise difficult to observe. Bruker offers dedicated systems for both solids DNP and dissolution DNP, each tailored to specific experimental needs. Solid-state DNP is used for studying materials, surfaces, and biological assemblies, while dissolution DNP enables rapid, high-sensitivity measurements in solution, including metabolic and in vivo applications. These complementary approaches support a wide range of scientific and industrial research.
