Dissolution of tablets

The dissolution process of a tablet can be characterized using magnetic resonance techniques, which enables to acquire in-vivo images, localized quantitative and qualitative spectra, and track the molecular diffusion of pharmaceutical compounds.

A tablet is a drug delivery system which ensures that the pharmaceutical ingredients are available at the targeted location with the right concentration and timing.
