Security advisory concerns legacy runtime for WibuKey dongle-based licensing, used by pmod version 4.4 backwards
Dear customer, you have our pmod software in a version that uses the WibuKey licensing technology. Wibu have issued a security advisory related to the WibuKey driver software on Windows and issued a new version.
Affected Versions of pmod
If you are using your pmod software (v4.4 to 4.1) on a computer that has internet access, we recommend following Wibu's instructions to update your system. We have tested the update for the supported versions of pmod (v4.4 to 4.1) on Windows 11. Please note that older versions of pmod are end-of-life and not eligible for support.
The current up-to-date version of pmod is v4.5, which uses the newer CodeMeter license technology from Wibu and is unaffected by this security advisory.
