Frequently Asked Questions

What types of sample analysis can be performed at PARC?

We offer customized sample analysis for forensic toxicology – examples include blood, urine, oral fluids, wastewater... Let’s discuss your specific needs!

Can I bring my own samples for testing?

Yes! We encourage you to bring real-world samples to test new workflows that you can apply to your lab. Contact us beforehand to coordinate.

What do I need to prepare for a visit?

We'll contact you to understand the challenges your lab is currently facing and plan your visit according to your needs.

Prior to your visit, an itinerary and daily checklist will be provided.

How much lead time is required for a visit?

This will depend on your specific goals. Pre-validated forensic workflows are established for multiple matrices that can be demonstrated with as little as two-week’s notice. If you are looking to optimize your current workflows and methods, we require a 3-4 week lead time to prepare for your visit.

How long does a typical visit last?

Visits typically last between 4-8 hours, depending on your needs.

Who from my lab should attend the visit? How many colleagues can attend a visit?

We recommend bringing your lab leadership (directors, managers) and analysts (scientists, analysts) to see each step of the process, from sample to report and everything in-between. Contact us to discuss your specific group size.
