Over the last two decades, significant advances seen in technology and new methodologies have made proteomics an extremely powerful tool for protein scientists, biologists and clinical researchers. The introduction of the timsTOF platform coupled with the revolutionary PASEF® acquisition mode is not only breaking new boundaries in speed, sensitivity, selectivity and robustness, but also enabling 4D-Proteomics™ approaches, allowing scientists to routinely explore parts of the proteome not previously accessible at rapid scale.
The addition of the ion mobility dimension in the timsTOF instruments allows to reproducibly measure the Collisional Cross Section (CCS) values for all detected ions, and those can be used to further increase the system’s selectivity, enabling more and more reliable relative quantitation information from complex samples and short gradient analyses.
Join us for a workshop within the landscape of 4D-Proteomics™. What is it about? Where can it be used? How can clever computer designing and data acquisition facilitate increased proteomics depth?
Explore the 4th dimension with us during a lunch seminar before the actual SPS program begins.
