A new approach to food allergen screening
Visit booth 6 to discover Bruker’s end-to-end workflow for rapid and reliable high throughput food allergen testing.
Join Bruker at the Food Allergy Forum’s 3rd International Conference in Amsterdam to see the announcement of the AllergenScreener, a food allergen solution that offers unrivaled accuracy, reproducibility, speed and ease-of-use.
The Bruker AllergenScreener offers food manufacturers and testing labs a predefined, end-to-end, user-friendly workflow that combines sample preparation, screening, and results interpretation – to test multiple samples for all known allergens in a time-saving single run.
Visit Bruker on booth 6 at the Food Allergy Forum 2023 to see the new solution in action.
The AllergenScreener meets the growing need for accurate, high throughput testing in a comprehensive solution. It detects the major food allergens - milk, egg, peanut, hazelnut, almond and walnut - required by the EU; including the major food allergens regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – all in a single run.
The system offers a simple, five-step workflow:

Data generated in AllergenScreener analysis offers a unique retrospective analysis feature: repurposing the data already generated with no need to re-run the screening process. This can answer a new analytical question using the same dataset should testing needs change.
In the AllergenScreener, Bruker brings its long experience in proven clinical analytical technology to routine food testing application, and has partnered with its innovator, Prof. Dr. Jens Brockmeyer, Head of the Department of Food Chemistry at the University of Stuttgart, to develop the AllergenScreener solution. Prof. Dr. Brockmeyer brings 15 years of experience in food chemistry and an extensive background in food allergen research.
Prof. Dr. Brockmeyer will present a poster at the Food Allergy Forum to demonstrate the high-performance capabilities of the AllergenScreener and outline the rapid multi-sample analysis for detection of both allergens and species.
