Bead Assisted Mass Spectrometry (BAMS™) is an assay platform that combines immuno-affinity capture on magnetic beads with detection by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry for multiplexed, targeted proteomic assays. Almost any protein target is accessible as long as a specific affinity reagent (ie, antibody) is available.
The webinar will focus on the detailed description of the workflow and case studies of BAMS™ assays developed for targets relevant to neurology and virology. MALDI-TOF data resulted from the assays will be discussed in depth.
Sergei Dikler, PhD
Technical Project Manager, Bruker DaltonicsDr Sergei Dikler received his PhD in Chemistry from the Texas A&M University under the direction of Professor David Russell. He joined Bruker Corporation and is currently a Technical Project Manager specialising in MALDI-TOF applications. Dikler has led or participated in product development projects such as the development of the MALDI PharmaPulse system, new method development for MALDI-TOF/TOF instruments including high-throughput screening, top-down and middle-down sequencing of intact proteins and many other projects. This work resulted in numerous conference presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals including a paper in Science that was published in 2018.
