Training at Bruker

Bruker offers advanced applications training courses for atomic force microscopes at our facilities. Learn from our applications experts. The classes include both theory sessions and lab sessions. These courses are an excellent way to raise your level of proficiency and get that extra productivity out of your instrument. Students are invited to bring their own samples to practice on our state-of-the-art equipment.

Basic AFM Icon Training May 5-7, 2020 Karlsruhe, Germany
During this modular 3-day course you can improve your skillset on the Bruker Dimension Icon system. If you are new to the system or need a refresher, you can choose to stay the full three days or participate only in one or two days, depending on your personal requirements.
AFM Quantitative Nano Mechanics Training May 27-28, 2020 Karlsruhe, Germany
During this 2-day course you can improve your skillset and understanding with the fundamentals of Bruker’s Quantitative Nano Mechanics (QNM) application package and how it is used to distinguish between regions of different mechanical properties during scanning. This training will focus on using the Icon AFM for practical work, but the software use is almost identical for QNM with our other NSV AFMs; Multimode8, BioscopeResolve.
AFM Innova Training June 10-11, 2020 Karlsruhe, Germany
During this modular 2-day course you can improve your skillset on the Bruker Innova AFM system. If you are new to the techniques or just need a refresher, you can choose to participate in just one or both days of the course, depending on your personal requirements.
Contact Resonance and nDMA Training October 28-29, 2020 Karlsruhe, Germany
During this 2-day course you can improve your skillset and understanding with these specialised modes for measuring sample mechanics at the nanoscale. This training will use the Icon AFM for practical work and demonstrations.
