Biographical Information

Dr. Manfred Spraul was born on January 29th 1953 in Karlsruhe, Germany. He did his diplomen in chemistry at Technical University in Karlsruhe and the PHD work in the Engler Bunte Institute of the University, section Petrochemistry.1982 Dr. Spraul joined Bruker Analytische Messtechnik (now called Bruker BioSpin GmbH) as application chemist for NMR and LC. After three years he was appointed as manager of NMR application group in Rheinstetten, Germany. From 2002 until 2012 he was director of NMR applications and worldwide coordinator of Hyphenation. Since January 2015 he is the CTO (chief technology officer of the Applied, Industrial and Clinical Division AIC at Bruker BioSpin. Dr. Spraul is member of the executive committee of the NIHR Phenome Center Network and part of the Scientific Committee of the MR in Food Society. He has been participating in over 100 publications in the field of NMR and mixture analysis and has been contributing to 14 patents on NMR and Hyphenation, High Throughput Screening and Data Analysis.
