About the Course

This hands-on course applies to users of XFlash EDS spectrometers. The training presents the theoretical fundamentals and practical techniques as well as the methods in quantitative element analysis. The main focus is on performing Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy using the Esprit software package.

The workshop will combine theoretical lectures with hands-on practical sessions at the scanning electron microscope (SEM), allowing participants to directly apply their learning.  The program will also address advanced topics such as combined EDS/EBSD analysis. 

This user school is designed to enhance the proficiency of EDS users at all levels, providing the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the capabilities of EDS technology in their daily work.
