SpinPilot – The Future of NMR Automation

Webinar Overview

SpinPilot is Bruker’s next‑generation automation software for TopSpin, designed to simplify everyday NMR. In this webinar, we will introduce its intuitive web interface, profile‑based configuration, and secure user management. We will also show how typical NMR automation workflows translate to SpinPilot. This will help you run experiments faster and prepare your lab for future capabilities.

SpinPilot brings a modern, browser‑based experience to NMR automation. You will see how profiles and roles separate instrument configuration from user management, enabling cleaner multi‑user setups. We will demonstrate queue and quota concepts, template‑driven experiment setup, and options for Python‑based customization.

We will also highlight integration touchpoints with TopSpin 5 and discuss migration tips, training resources, and where to find updates. The session concludes with Q&A.

Speakers

Dr. Barbara Czarniecki

NMR Application Scientist at Bruker BioSpin

Barbara Czarniecki completed her DSc in Organometallic Chemistry at ETH Zurich, which following graduation, she continued to research and teach.

Eric Johnson

Application scientist Bruker US

Dr. Eric Johnson earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, studying protein structures using NMR. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, where he investigated small‑molecule ligand–RNA interactions. In 2006, he joined the NMR Applications team at Bruker BioSpin and is based in the Bruker San Jose demo lab, where he specializes in all aspects of liquid‑state NMR.
