Preclinical MRI

BioSpec 70/40

Studies with intricate set-ups or on larger preclinical species can be easily
conducted within the BioSpec 70/40 due to its extremely large 40 cm bore size

Widest

Possibilities

Full Flexibility
40 cm bore size combined with unrestricted software for boundary pushing research on smaller and larger species
Best Performance
No compromise on small rodents with gradient insert selection to perfectly match the full range of common preclinical studies
Smooth Workflows
Specially designed coils, cradles, and carts for optimal handling and preparation

BioSpec 70/40

Impactful preclinical neuroscience studies require the most relevant models and study design. Such studies often demand a larger degree of physical freedom, be it due to the size of the species under investigation or the necessity of extra room for extensive peripherals. With a field-strength of 7 Tesla combined with 40 cm of bore space, the BioSpec 70/40 provides increased sensitivity for highest resolutions with maximal space to enable studies that are perfectly designed for your research.
In addition to gradient inserts for optimal scanning of small rodents, the BioSpec 70/40 facilitates non-human primate studies with specially designed animal monitoring and handling provisions as well as accessories for awake studies.
