AP Quality Team Lead Joined November 2020

My professional journey began in October 2017 as a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist in Warsaw. Although I knew little about Accounting and Finance, my fluency in German, gained from my studies at Warsaw University, was key. I received on-the-job training and completed additional accounting courses to understand SAP.

After two years, I moved to another Shared Service and spent three months in Heidelberg, Germany, for an AP transition to Warsaw. With the AP processes transitioning to India, I continued my career at Bruker Business Support Center in Warsaw as an AP Specialist, already with three years of experience.

And then my career blossomed. Over 4 years, I was promoted 4 times and had 6 roles in the Accounts Payable area: from AP Specialist, through Senior Specialist to AP Supervisor, and finally AP Team Leader. After the AP process transition to Porto beginning 2024, I was offered to continue my growth at Bruker as an AP Improvement Lead. I can only guess this happened because my name was already known, and people from different Finance departments or even different locations knew me and valued my experience and commitment to work. And the fact that, if something was unresolvable landed with me. After a few months of working with Porto Colleagues, I got a team of 4, and my role evolved to AP Quality Team Lead. In November 2025, it will be 5 years since I have been working for Bruker, and all the promotions and title changes demonstrate perfectly how dynamic an environment Bruker creates.

From a process operational perspective, I can assure you that AP at Bruker is much more than AP everywhere else. It’s not only about posting and paying an invoice. If you want, you can develop your accounting knowledge by analysing accounts, balances, mismatches on Intercompany, GRIR, accruals, developing technical skills being an Xflow Admin (a tool for processing invoices), EAR comments, Audit and SOX things, and many more.

I have learned a lot thanks to Bruker and its complexity, and met amazing people. I grew here as a Team Lead and discovered my natural leadership skills to lead different teams, help them with operational work, and at the same time build very good relationships with local stakeholders.

Now I support AP Porto in whatever way I can. Different entities, different needs. Working remotely and having a boss abroad and being a bridge between both GBS centers is another level of experience that I really appreciate. I know that this isn’t my last chapter at Bruker.
