Overview

This webinar will illustrate the performance of the new, flexible multi-excitation TXRF spectrometer S4 TStar and its application to food samples and beverages. It will highlight the ease of sample preparation of liquid and solid samples avoiding laborious digestion procedures with hazardous chemicals.

This webinar will focus on improved levels of detection of the most modern TXRF spectrometer S4 TStar equipped with two X-ray tubes and new large area detectors. Several application examples of a variety of samples will be shown, e.g. the detection of the toxic element arsenic in rice or lead in tea drinks, the quality control of nutrient elements like chromium, selenium, molybdenum and iodine in liquid nutritional products or the metal composition of plant material.
