Proving the Power of Benchtop NMR: Advanced Pulse Sequences with the Fourier 80

Intro

Benchtop NMR systems are increasingly expected to deliver the performance of high-field instruments. As signal dispersion decreases at lower field strengths, advanced techniques become essential for maintaining spectral clarity. This webinar explores how the Bruker Fourier 80 meets these challenges with robust, high-performance NMR capabilities in a compact format.

    Webinar Overview

In this webinar, we demonstrate how any compatible high-field NMR experiment - whether from the default TopSpin library or user-created - can be easily run on the Bruker Fourier 80. We’ll explore pure shift NMR techniques such as SHARPER (Sensitive, Homogeneous And Resolved PEaks in Real time), which removes both homonuclear and heteronuclear couplings to improve sensitivity and resolution.

The Fourier 80 benchtop NMR spectrometer brings powerful pulse sequences such as NOAH (NMR by Ordered Acquisition and ¹H-Detection) and DREAMTIME (Designed Refocused Excitation And optional Mixing for Targets In vivo and Mixture Elucidation), helping researchers achieve clearer spectra and faster acquisition times to compact labs without compromising their performance.

These techniques are especially valuable at 80 MHz, where signals show lower dispersion and broader multiplets. The session highlights the Fourier 80’s robustness and adaptability across diverse experimental settings, including multinuclear applications.
