Enhanced Hit Quality in High-Throughput Protein–Ligand Interaction Screening

March 27, 2024

Overview

In vitro measurement of small-molecule ligand binding to a protein target represents an important but challenging step in drug discovery.

A novel affinity-selection mass spectrometry (AS-MS) workflow has been developed to ensure enhanced hit quality at uncompromised speed in high-throughput screening (HTS) of protein–ligand interactions.

The new method uses trapped ion mobility spectrometry (TIMS) enabled MALDI mass spectrometry for label-free identification of ligands in a HTS compatible format.

Using data from a recent study, our expert speaker will demonstrate how the new readout platform improves ligand hit quality, and how TIMS offers potential for an expanded scope of AS-MS assays.

Watch this webinar to:

  • Discover a novel AS-MS approach for enhanced HTS of protein–ligand interactions
  • Learn how ligand hit quality is enhanced through improved AS-MS specificity
  • Explore the unique potential TIMS offers for expanding the scope of AS-MS
  • Learn about the latest technology behind AS-MS in HTS format
