Modular, Dual-Wavelength Platform for Single-Crystal X-ray Diffraction
The D8 VENTURE is a modular diffractometer with single-wavelength or dual-wavelength options designed for high-performance crystallography in chemistry, materials science and the life sciences.
The modular D8 VENTURE platform gives crystallographers the ability to create a high-performance diffractometer that matches their research needs.
The system's spacious interior, in a relatively compact footprint, provides room for an additional X-ray source, our SCOUT system for automated crystallography, an ISX stage for in situ crystallography or devices for crystallography at non-ambient conditions.
The D8 VENTURE uses best-in-class components and is available with air cooling to ensure the collection of high-quality diffraction data for accurate structure determination.
- Detector: PHOTON IV CPAD detector with higher quantum efficiency than silicon-based detectors.
- X-ray sources:
- Sealed-tube microfocus X-ray sources: IµS 3.0, for the Efficiency Class.
- Diamond-hybrid microfocus X-ray sources: IµS DIAMOND II, for the Performance Class.
- Liquid-metal-jet X-ray source: METALJET MC, for the Beamline Class.
- Advanced safety enclosure: TUEV certified safety enclosure.
- Software: APEX for chemical crystallography and/or PROTEUM for structural biology.
- Enhancements/ Upgrades: SCOUT automated sample handling, ISX Stage, High-Temperature Device, and more
