Follow us on our way to the ISS

ANITA-2 (Analyzing Interferometer for Ambient Air) is a trace gas monitoring system for the International Space Station (ISS). It has been developed by OHB under contract of the European Space Agency (ESA). The interferometer inside ANITA-2 based on the well renowned Bruker RocksolidTM interferometer. Its wear-free nature of the bearing ensures exceptional stability and reliability even in harsh environments.

The ANITA-2’s mission is to yield high precision measurements of the gas atmosphere on board the ISS once every 6 minutes, measuring more than 30 gases with a sub-ppm accuracy. This capability is of high importance for future human space travel, especially for long duration missions to the moon and mars. ANITA-2 is scheduled to launch to ISS in December 2021.
