Bruker Applied Mass Spectrometry Showcases Front-Line Chromatography-Free MS Screening at SOFT 2025

PORTLAND, OR, USA - October 29, 2025 - Bruker Applied Mass Spectrometry will highlight advances in harmonized sample preparation for chromatography-free forensic screening across oral fluid, urine, and blood at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT) 2025 in Portland, demonstrating DART-MS technology on the EVOQ^® DART-TQ⁺ system. The approach overcomes immunoassay screening limitations and challenges, and also adds the advantage of both the fast screen and legally defensible LC-MS confirmation, efficiently done on the same mass spectrometer.

The kit delivers accuracy, specificity, and sensitivity that outperforms traditional immunoassays, while allowing labs to reflex to LC-MS/MS confirmation on the same instrument.
