Covid-19-NMR联盟的建立是出于对新冠肺炎大流行的威胁作出快速反应的需要。疫情爆发初期,研究人员就意识到,成功对抗病毒传播的一个关键因素是在全球范围内进行合作,颠覆传统模式,即刻分享科学成果。

研讨会简介

克服新冠肺炎病毒的关键是了解其结构,而Covid-19-NMR联盟的目标是改变科学界的合作方式,打破障碍,以透明和国际化的方式工作,从而更快地取得研究成果。联盟使用核磁共振来分析病毒的RNA和蛋白质成分及结构。研究的目的有两个方面:首先,通过支持有效的抗病毒药物的开发,找到新冠肺炎的治疗方法;其次,通过了解病毒蛋白的结构为何因此改变,调查病毒变异的影响。

Harald Schwalbe

Harald Schwalbe(1966年3月26日出生于德国美因河畔法兰克福)是法兰克福歌德大学生物分子磁共振中心(BMRZ)的教授和副主任。在该校的有机化学和化学生物学研究所,Schwalbe教授是"结构化学和生物学/核磁共振波谱学"部门的负责人,并提供有机化学和核磁共振波谱学领域的讲座。他的研究重点是应用核磁共振技术来研究蛋白质合成的组成部分:DNA、RNA和蛋白质。

Mei Hong

美国马萨诸塞州剑桥市麻省理工学院化学系教授

麻省理工学院Hong教授牵头的研究小组开发并应用魔角旋转固体核磁共振波谱学来阐明生物大分子的结构和动力学。
