AVANCE/TopSpin Applications Course

Overview

Info:

The advanced version of the course is aimed at users with previous experience of Bruker spectrometers, and will quickly review the topics from the standard course, then move on to implementation of more specialised methods – again the emphasis is on ‘how to’ rather than NMR theory. It is expected that attendees are already comfortable running standard experiments on Bruker NMR spectrometers.

Topics:

The final program will be determined by the requirements of the attendees (please specify any topics of personal interest) but would be expected to cover:

  • Monday: Review of 1D/2D NMR (lecture and practical)
  • Tuesday - Friday: Automation, AU Programming, Standard Experiments, Plot Editor, Kinetics, VT Work, Hardware Overview & Maintenance, Pulse Programming, Small Molecules (selective experiments, STD, metabonomics), Large Molecules (triple resonance experiments, fast methods, processing techniques, diffusion)

Please note:

The number of places on each course is restricted, so you are advised to return your completed registration form as early as possible. Places will be allocated in the order their registration is received. Should you require a second participant to be registered, please bear in mind that this will be subject to availability of course places, and may only be finalized 2 weeks before the course start date.
