AVANCE/TopSpin Operator Course

The standard AVANCE/TopSpin course is aimed at new operators of standard high-resolution NMR spectrometers, covering instrument operation of typical 1D and 2D NMR experiments, automation operation and spectrometer maintenance. The course is orientated around ‘how to’ perform experiments and tasks, and only provides a brief introduction to NMR theory. The course includes practical exercises, demonstrations, and lectures.

Topics:

• Monday: Introduction to NMR Theory and Experiments
• Tuesday: Basics of Acquisition and Processing
• Wednesday: Maintenance and Advanced Techniques
• Thursday: Automation and AU Programming
• Friday: Software Installation & Hardware Maintenance

The number of places on each course is restricted, so you are advised to return your completed registration form as early as possible. Places will be allocated in the order their registration is received. Should you require a second participant to be registered, please bear in mind that this will be subject to availability of course places, and may only be finalized 2 weeks before the course start date.
