Measuring Distances

Biological activity is determined by interaction between molecules.

Determination of electron-electron brings a precious information when it comes to decipher the fine mechanisms that are at the origin of a biological activity.

Precise measurement of electron-electron interspin distances in the range 20-80 Å is becoming more and more important, e.g. in cardiology research. With our ELEXSYS-II E580 as well as our E680 and our E780 system , DEER distance measurement experiments are now commonly employed.
