Bioimaging with Light-Sheet Microscopy: Ultra Gentle Imaging of Living Samples

Light-sheet microscopy is a state-of-the-art imaging technique that allows for long-term 3D imaging without the phototoxicity or photobleaching that occurs when using many standard imaging techniques like laser scanning confocal or spinning disk confocal.

In this webinar, we will discuss the benefits of light-sheet fluorescence microscopy as a gentle bio-imaging technique and show how it can be adapted to a variety of samples. Specifically, we will focus on the Luxendo InVi-SPIM with its unique light-sheet geometry, designed for imaging live specimens in high resolution, which until now have only been achieved using confocal microscopy. We will describe our innovative sample mounting technique and how we can use this to image cell lines, developing embryos, whole organisms and much more.
