EDS Map of a FIB/TEM Lamella of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 Solar Cells

Cu(In,Ga)Se2 is a low cost-high efficiency solar cell material which is already available commercially. Understanding the chemistry of all the multilayers in the CIGS solar cell during different procesing conditions is important to further improve the efficiency. Shown here is an EDS map of a FIB/TEM lamella of CIGS solar cells acquired with XFlash® FlatQUAD EDS detector.
