BioSpec 3T: Extending the Applications of Multi-purpose Preclinical MRI

In this webinar, MRI Product Specialist for Bruker BioSpin, Dr. Thomas Basse-Lüsebrink, will discuss Bruker’s BioSpec 3T. Designed for the study of mice and rats, this system, which combines Bruker’s latest MRI technology with carefully designed software applications and multimodal options, is fully compatible with other imaging modalities such as PET. 

Also speaking at the webinar, will be Bruker BioSpin’s most senior MRI Application Scientist, Dr. Erich Treiber, who will discuss the special protocols designed for the system and how they will benefit newcomers as well as those who are already experts in MRI imaging.

Thomas joined Bruker in 2014 as an application scientist and is now the Product Specialist MRI at Bruker. Previously, he studied Physics at the University of Würzburg where he graduated in 2012. During his time in Würzburg, Thomas focused on the application of 19F MRI in fields of neurology and oncology.

Dr. Erich Treiber

Senior Application Scientist, Bruker BioSpin - Germany

Erich started at Bruker in 1986. He was in charge of the clinical MRI scanners (0.15T to 1T). After discontinuation of the human whole body MRI scanners he joined the application group. He studied physics at the University of Stuttgart. Already as a post-doc at University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada he worked with Bruker BioSpec systems.
