Advantages of real-time database search on the timsTOF Pro
This talk will describe the extension of parallel accumulation serial fragmentation (PASEF) to parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) for targeted quantitative proteomics as well as data independent acquisition (DIA) will be described. Through these additional capabilities quantitative proteomics at depth and throughput can now become a reality.
Finally, real-time database search capabilities using the recently launched PaSER box will be demonstrated at search speeds faster than the data acquisition speed of the timsTOF Pro or less than 2 milli-second per spectra searched.
