Bruker Tech Day 2026

Bruker's free workshop on photothermal AFM-IR technology
in advance of the 2nd European Meeting on InfraRed Nanospectro-Imaging in Rome, Italy

Many thanks to everyone involved in making this a great workshop!

Bruker was pleased to hold a free pre-conference Bruker Technology Day on Tuesday, 16th June 2026. The workshop took place in advance of the 2nd European Meeting on InfraRed Nanospectro-Imaging at the Sapienza University in Rome, Italy (17-19 June 2026).

This workshop focussed on the latest advances in nanochemical imaging and spectroscopy, showcasing Bruker’s photothermal AFM-IR technology and its use in fields, such as life sciences, polymers, 2D materials, and micro-electronics.

The workshop included:

  • Keynote presentations from Prof. Francesco Simone Ruggeri, Wageningen University Netherlands, Dr. Valeria Giliberti, Sapienza University of Rome, Dr. Jérémie Mathurin, Université Paris-Saclay/CNRS
  • Introduction to the theory and interpretation of photothermal AFM-IR data
  • Advanced data processing
  • Practical workshops and hands-on training sessions:
Bruker’s Dimension IconIR system and Bruker’s Dimension Nexus system
  • Multimodal nanoscale surface characterization with our latest scientific NanoIR instrumentation
  • Relevant application examples
