At the heart of the Elute+ LC series of ultra-high performance liquid chromatography systems (UHPLC) is the high pressure binary gradient pump with two pairs of serial-coupled, individually controlled linear drive pump heads that deliver virtually pulse-free, reproducible flow with a unique accuracy independent of flow rate, solvent compressibility or composition. Active piston backwash extends the lifetime of the piston seals, increasing productivity and reducing cost of ownership. The flow path of the Elute+ LC Series is optimized by minimizing the gradient delay volume to deliver high chromatographic resolution, fast gradients, and ultimate short cycle times, increasing sample throughput.
All Elute+ LC systems incorporate a true self-priming and self-purging capability. The automatic purge and mobile phase priming process takes only a few minutes and makes it simple to exchange mobile phases to avoid any leaks in manual operations. In addition, the use of two different sets of mobile phases and the option of column switching provides flexibility for routine labs, allowing multiple LC-MS methods to be run unattended day after day.
Tailored to your applications, Bruker provides a variety of complete liquid chromatography systems ready to start advancing your mass spectrometry workflows.
The new Elute+ SL UHPLC System ensures exceptional injection accuracy and reproducibility, along with the ability to inject down to the last few microliters of precious sample in the most demanding analytical workflows.
The Elute+ Autosampler SL is engineered to deliver exceptional analytical consistency across a wide range of injection volumes. Its split-loop injection architecture ensures outstanding reproducibility at low injection volumes, while eliminating sample loss even for sample limited applications. With three selectable wash solvents, an integrated wash pump, and PFAS free options, the autosampler minimizes carryover and contamination risk.
The system’s horizontal column oven supports multi-column configurations while maintaining the smallest LC stack footprints in the industry, making it ideal for multi instrument LC-MS laboratories. Importantly, the reduced footprint does not compromise performance or capacity—the system still provides space for 132 vials or two microtiter plates, making it a highly scalable solution for routine testing, screening workflows, and research environments requiring efficient use of laboratory space.
The combination of precision, robustness, and ergonomic design makes the Elute+ SL a dependable core of any high performance LC-MS workflow.
For laboratories demanding maximum throughput and expanded sample capacity, the Elute+ HT System—paired with the industry standard PAL RSI autosampler—delivers a fully flexible, scalable solution for the most challenging high throughput LC-MS workflows. It supports large volume injections, fast cycle times, and the integration of additional sample preparation steps, enabling a smooth transition from routine high throughput screening to fully automated, unattended LC-MS operation.
With a standard capacity of 324 vials or six well plates, the Elute+ HT easily expands with additional sample trays, flow switching valves, extended wash options, and even online extraction modules, providing room for both capacity and capability growth.
The split-loop injection principle of the Elute+ SL delivers highly reproducible injections, especially for low sample amounts.
Combined with zero sample loss and optimized flow path design, the Elute+ SL ensures excellent peak area consistency—ideal for trace level quantitation and sample-limited workflows in life science research.
Image: Peak area reproducibility distribution for 250 pesticides spiked at 5 ppb into blank blueberry QuEChERS extract and analyzed using the TargetScreener method on an impact II VIP QTOF (10× 2 µL injections), yielding retention time SD < 0.1 min for all detected compounds and only 10 out of 250 pesticides showing peak area RSD > 5%.
The Elute+ LC Series is designed to simplify daily operation and reduce total cost of ownership:
Multiresidue screening
Guidelines defining retention time (RT) deviations for pesticide screening are setting demanding levels for the respective LC-MS methods. The EU SANTE guidelines 11312/2021 require retention time deviations to meet < 0.1 min. Based on its innovative pump design the Elute+ LC systems perform easily below this RT threshold by providing typical RT deviations of 0.01 min.
Optimized for PFAS workflows, from injection to detection
Whether screening, quantifying, or confirming PFAS under stringent regulatory methods, the Elute+ LC is engineered to deliver consistent analytical performance, low carryover and minimal background. With the optional PFAS Kit, designed to eliminate PFAS related contamination pathways and validated with demanding methods like EPA 1633, the Elute+ SL and Elute+ HT offer reproducible chromatographic performance essential for reliable PFAS reporting.
