ブルカーが新しい小型の1.0GHz NMRマグネットを発表

液体ヘリウムの消費量削減を支援する新しい革命

フロリダ州オーランド - 2022年4月25日 - Experimental NMR Conference（ENC 2022）において、ブルカーは、一階建て分の高さの研究施設で構造生物学のアプリケーションを行うための、温度4.2Kで動作する非常にコンパクトな新しい1.0 GHz NMR磁石を紹介します。さらにブルカーは、液体ヘリウムの消費量を削減するためのイノベーションとサービスを提供します。

ブルカーの大きな革命と技術導入は、Ascend Evo 1.0 GHzの名称で、他に例のない1.0 GHz 4K NMR磁石です。工場で磁場を上げ、タンパク質を用いたNMRテストに成功したところです。設置面積、重量、必要な天井の高さが大幅に削減され、液体ヘリウムの消費量も1/3と劇的に削減されたことで、多くの構造生物学の研究者がGHz NMRの感度と分解能を活用できるようになりました。ENCでは、この新しくユニークな技術的進化によって得られた優れたタンパク質1.0GHz NMRデータをご紹介します。

２つ目の革命は、設置したNMR磁石から蒸発したヘリウムガスを回収するための、コンパクトで設置が容易なシステムで、Heliosmart Recoveryとして限定発売されます。ヘリウムガスは高圧ボンベに貯蔵され、循環型ヘリウム利用を支えます。Heliosmart Recoveryシステムは、数台の通常のNMR磁石から蒸発したガスを回収することができ、典型的な定常回収率は80%〜85%に達します。回収された高圧ヘリウムガスは、現地や地域のヘリウム再液化施設で利用することができます。

ブルカーはLabScapeリモートモニタリングを無料で提供しています。ブルカーの専門家が磁石を積極的に監視しており、冷媒の補充時期を事前に把握することが可能です。

独自のコンパクトなBruker Ascend Evo 1.0 GHz磁石は、設置面積、重量、天井高さの要件を大幅に緩和し、液体ヘリウムの消費量を1/3に削減。
