Dr. Udaya Kiran Marelli obtained his PhD from CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad. He had done his Postdoctoral Researcher from Technical University Munich (TUM) and European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) Heidelberg, Germany. His core research area includes Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Applications. NMR applications for small biomolecules and methodology development. NMR profiling of food and agro products. Investigation of protein-ligand interactions by NMR. SBDD and FBDD by NMR and applications. Peptide Based Drug Design (PBDD) and Peptide Chemical Biology. Development of novel tools for PBDD. Improvement of the pharmacological properties of peptides. Development of bioactive peptide molecules for important biological receptors.

Mr. Sachin R. Kate

Senior Applications Scientist, Bruker BioSpin

Mr. Sachin Kate has done Masters in Biophysics from Massey University, New Zealand. Sachin joined the application team at Bruker India, Mumbai branch in August 2008 and he did service, initial sales and application support. His role involves application support and trainings for solid state, liquid state NMR spectroscopy and NMR Food Screener Honey Profiler. He has been supporting for scientists in academics, industry and pharma customers at all levels to expand the NMR capabilities to enhance their research.
